(Q) How do I register?

(A) To register click on the ‘Register’ tab found on the header navigation bar or on the ‘Welcome new users’ box on the top right section of the home page. Registration is simple and only takes a matter of minutes.
You will receive an email confirmation for you to activate your account.

(Q) I'm under 18 and can't signup?
|

(A) In accordance with standard law under 18's cannot participate in auctions.

(Q) What is ID Verification?
|
|
(A) The ID Verification icon or verification tag is supplied to those members who have been ID Verified. This reduces the chance of fraudulent activity and enables you to bid with confidence.

Selling

(Q) How can I list an item?
|
|
(A) You must be a registered member to sell anything on the site. Once you have registered, simply login to your account and click on the ‘Sell / Swap’ tab at the top of the screen.
Select a general category for your item to be listed under, followed by the sub-category.
You will be asked whether you wish to list in another general category. If you do not, click the ‘No thanks, I do not wish to list in a second category’ link.
On the Auction Settings tab, you can choose the type of auction, the start price, whether to activate, buy now or set a reserve price.
You will also be able to choose whether to feature the item to give better stand out, add a full description of the item and determine the duration of the auction.
You can also ensure that you only offer your item/s to ID Verified users.
Use the Auto Relist button to automatically relist your item.
Add as many images as you can, to help sell your item or a video clip via the Media Upload section.
After setting the location, shipping and payment details, please read the Terms and Conditions and then click the ‘Next Step’ tab.
Check your details on the next page, before hitting Submit.
After submitting, you can amend your auction details if you wish. n.b. once a bid has been placed, you can only amend your description. |

(Q) How can I keep track of items I'm selling?

(A) You can view all items you are selling by visiting your Members Area and selecting the ‘Selling’ page. |

(Q) Can I use HTML when listing an item?
|
|
(A) Yes you can, however we recommend you use basic tags as complex HTML descriptions may not display correctly. |

(Q) Can I amend details of an item I have listed?
|
|
(A) Yes. In your Members Area, click on the ‘Selling’ tab, from here you can edit any item, or delete it if no bids have been placed. If bids have commenced, you can not delete the item and changes can only be made to the description. |

(Q) I have an item listed and have been contacted by another member to email my payment details to him/her. What should I do?
|

(A) Do not reply to any request from another member which could open you up to possible problems. By replying, you are supplying your email, which could open you up to unwanted emails thereafter.
NEVER supply your payment details. All necessary information is supplied on your auction page (and kept private), so no member need ever ask for this information. If you suspect a ‘bad egg’ please file an Abuse Report via your Members Area. |

(Q) I have sold an item, how do I see the details of the buyer?

(A) Click on the ‘View Sold Items Details’ at the top of the ‘Selling’ page. |

(Q) Somebody keeps bidding on all my items and then fails to pay, what should I do?
|

(A) Contact us and file an Abuse Report. Block the member using the ‘Block Users’ icon in you Members Area. |

(Q) I have sold an item but have not received payment, what do I do?
|
|
(A) If a buyer does not action payment, please contact them directly via the message board, or their telephone number. If you still receive no payment, contact us using the ‘Abuse Report’ icon on your member’s page.

(A) After login, visit any item you are interested in and enter your bid in the box displayed at the bottom of the page. |

(Q) How do I know if I am outbid on an item?

(A) Our auction system will automatically notify you via email if you are outbid. If you sign up to our SMS text messaging service, you can also receive a SMS notification

(Q) How do I know if my bid is successful?
|

(A) You will receive an email from us confirming your success. All successful bids will be shown in your Members Area. If you sign up to our SMS text messaging service, you can also receive a SMS notification. |

(Q) Can I retract a bid?

(A) In order to protect the integrity of the auction process, we are unable to retract a bid for any reason.

(Q) What does 'Buy Out' mean?
|

(A) These are items that can be purchased at a fixed price without bidding. |

(Q) How do I contact the seller I have recently bought an item from?
|

(A) Once logged in, click on the link in your Members Area, called ‘view won item(s) Details.’ You will be taken to a page where you can leave a message on the seller’s message board.

(Q) How do I pay for an item?

(A) All successful bids will be shown in your member's area, with the options available to you to make your purchase

(Q) How do I upload bulk items?

(A) Click on the icon ‘Bulk’ on the Members page. This will take you to the ‘download bulk zip’ link, where you can download our multi-list application which allows you to upload multiple items

(A) Auction Rules are found in our Terms and Conditions section, found at the bottom of the home page.

(Q)What is ‘Auction Watch’?
|
|
(A) The ‘Auction Watch’ tab enables you to add keywords for auctions you’re interested in. You will be notified of newly listed auctions which contain “keywords” you have chosen. For example if you are looking for a “Play station 2” you could enter these keywords into the ‘Auction Watch’ link. You can enter in as many keywords as you like. |

(Q) I haven’t placed a bid, but I am interested in an item can I ‘watch’ it?

(A) Yes. You can watch any listed item, by clicking on ‘Watch this item’ in the top bar of any item page. This feature means you can be kept up to date on how an auction is doing and prepares you to place a winning last minute bid.
