vehicle is located in MONTEREY, CA 93940. 1993 Mazda RX-7 Touring
Edition Asking $17,200 OBO/Negotiable/No Trades I am currently located
in the Monterey area of CA, zip code 93940, not in Gilroy but very
close to it. I am selling this beauty because I am going overseas to
Japan. I have the option to export it with me, but found it was too
expensive to do so and it’s too nice of a car to just let it sit in
the garage all those months I’m away. It's meant to be driven, so
I’ve decided to let someone else handle this beauty. This car has
never been raced, mostly driven on the street, well taken care of, and
was garaged most of its life until last month due to moving to a new
home w/o a closed garage. The paint is immaculate. The car will e
with stock rims and brand new Yokohama tires, purchased this month.
(Not the wheels displayed in the first picture of Work wheels.) I have
all documents the size of a couple of textbooks. Since I've got it,
I've washed it at least once every week. It's basically stock except
for a few modifications on the car to make it more reliable, which were
r mended by RX-7 experts/enthusiasts suggested on different forums.
The modifications are as follows: The exhaust system was replaced with
the following: - APEXI’ N1 Exhaust and HKS Downpipe (There is a small
hole the size of your thumb on the bottom side of the muffler near the
inner edge, barely visible unless you crawl under the car to see it.
Had it checked it. They said it was nothing serious, because it was
where the sound silencing/dampening was, so all you feel in the hole is
the padding, which is used to silence the exhaust. Basically, all it
did was make the exhaust sound a little louder and there is no
performance change. It was caused by going over a police gate/blockade
after a vehicle inspection. I was going over it at an angle and as slow
as possible to avoid any damage to the vehicle, yet it still managed to
clip onto something on the bottom of the gate. (Also, I have the
original Catalytic Converter) - M2 Carbon Fiber Intake - M2 Medium Size
Intercooler w/ a GREDDY Elbow - APEXI’ N1 Coilovers (Still have
original suspension, which are in excellent condition, barely used) -
Cross Drilled Rotors - APEXI’ Power FC (came tuned for RX-7s from the
factory) - ODESSEY Extreme Mini Battery Cosmetic Changes or As Follows:
- RE Amemiya Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser (for looks really) - 99 J-Spec
Tail Lights - 99 J-Spec Sidemarker Lights - 99 J-Spec Front Lip Mileage
is currently a little more than 59K. Is registered and passed SMOG.
Also, the oil was recently changed as well. This is an excellent car
with a clean title. As for security on such a nice car, I have RAVELCO
in addition with the factory alarm that came with the car. It's like
LoJack, but better. The pany has a record of distributing millions
of their system and not one vehicle with Ravelco has been stolen..
